Markus Hagmann

Markus Hagmann lives with his family in St. Gallen, works as a teacher and leads a running group. In 2019, a young refugee named Dominic Lobalu joined the group. Their shared passion for running brings them together and allows them to grow as a team with every step they take. At first it was about finding common ground, building trust and overcoming everyday obstacles. Later came the first sporting successes. Away from the spotlight, Coach Hagmann not only succeeds in turning his protégé into a world-class athlete, but also allows him to blossom as a person.
