Nicola Thibaudeau

In 2003, Nicola Thibaudeau took over the management of MPS Micro Precision Systems AG.

When she joined MPS, the company was active at two sites: Biel and Bonfol. With 135 employees, the company achieved a sales of CHF 18 million in 2003.

As a graduate in engineering from the Ecole Polytechnique de Montréal, she spent four years as a production engineer at IBM Canada before moving to Switzerland in 1990 to manage the Cicorel plant in La Chaux-de-Fonds, part of Câbles de Cortaillod (now Nexans).Together with Volker Gass, she bought Mécanex in Nyon, a company active in space and security sector.

In the past, she was a member of the Board of Directors of CSS Health Insurance and Swiss Post as well as a member of the Board of Innosuisse. She currently sits on the boards of Mobilière Holding, Banque Cantonale du Jura and Transports Publics Neuchâtelois AG.
