Monika Walser

Monika Walser has headed Klingnau-based de Sede AG, a leading manufacturer of exclusive leather furniture, since 2014. She also sits on the board of directors of companies such as Sanitas Krankenversicherung AG, Orior AG and Zoo Zürich AG. Before joining de Sede AG, Walser worked as CEO, CCO and HR manager at various international and domestic enterprises. She founded her first-ever company, Cassiopeia Trend AG, in 1994. This business specialised in the manufacture of traditional hand-embroidered children’s clothes.Walser originally trained as a haute couture dressmaker. She began her managerial career after doing numerous advanced training courses.
