Matthias Müller

Matthias Müller has been Vice President of the FDP Canton of Zurich since 2024. He was previously President of the Young Liberals Switzerland for around four years and a member of the FDP Switzerland party executive comittee. Matthias Müller is a lawyer at Homburger AG. He also serves as Secretary of the Board of Directors of HUPAC AG and as a member of the Board of Directors of the restaurant chain kaisin. AG restaurant chain and the upcycling start-up UpGrain AG. Matthias Müller studied law and economics at the University of St. Gallen and Singapore Management University. He then worked as a research assistant at the Chair of Private and Commercial Law of Prof Dr Hans-Ueli Vogt. His dissertation on the opting-out under takeover law was accepted by the Faculty of Law of the University of Zurich in March 2024.
