Daniel Aufdenblatten

Daniel Aufdenblatten has been CEO of Air Zermatt since 2014. Born in Zermatt in 1975, he graduated from high school in Brig before completing his training as an airline pilot with Swissair. After the grounding, he spent 3 years as a helicopter pilot in the USA. Daniel has been flying for Air Zermatt since 2005 and has also worked as a pilot for long-haul business jets. His passion for rescue missions has led to around 3000 missions and awards such as the Aviation Heroism Award for the highest rescue ever carried out with a helicopter at 7000 m and the Prix Courage.
