The Swiss Institute for SMEs and Entrepreneurship at the University of St.Gallen (KMU-HSG) is the only university institute in Switzerland that has been exclusively and intensively committed to the interests of SMEs and family businesses for over 75 years. SMEs, family businesses and entrepreneurship are the three thematic pillars of the institute. The dialogue and exchange with entrepreneurs and managers drives us to generate knowledge about SMEs and family businesses and to impart this knowledge in a practical way.

Our training programmes are specially designed for small and medium-sized enterprises. By using a practical methodology and working with concrete case studies, we ensure that the knowledge learnt can be put directly into practice.
