As a listed mixed-economy company, Flughafen Zürich AG operates one of Switzerland's most important transport and meeting hubs as well as eight airports abroad. Flughafen Zürich AG employs around 1,700 people at the Zurich site. They are part of the airport family which, together with the other companies, has around 30,000 employees at and around the airport (including the Circle) and thus represents an important workplace in the region. The company's core tasks are divided into three business areas: Transport hubs, commercial centres and real estate.
