A beaming smile at a fair price: bestsmile makes this possible in record time. For only two years now, the start-up company of Philip Magoulas, Ertan Wittwer and Marcel Kubli has been producing transparent braces for adults and young people aged 16 and over using a state-of-the-art 3D printing process.

The so-called clear aligners are completely "swiss made", recyclable and significantly cheaper than those of competitors. Because: Bestsmile covers the entire value chain from one source. In addition to regional highly automated production, the young company also takes over the distribution of the braces and already employs 180 people. In more than 20 of its own dental surgeries throughout Switzerland to date, more than 35 dentists provide professional dental correction in a short period of time. Trademarks of the practice are minimalist design and completely digitalised processes. With this concept, the start-up company is in luck: in 2019, bestsmile was able to give already more than 3000 patients a beautiful smile, in 2020 it should be more than 11 000 patients in Switzerland.
